The Royal Oak

The Royal Oak is rumoured to be the very first 'Royal Oak' due to its 16th Century origins and close proximity to Boscobel House - location of the famous Oak tree where it is said King Charles hid from Cromwell's men.

Three local ales are always on tap with two special guest ales appearing most weekends.

Food is served here Tuesday to Sunday and features home-cooked dishes freshly prepared using locally sourced meat and fresh local
vegetables.

Pub quiz first Thursday of every month. Live music here. Live sports shown.
