The Sorrel Horse
The Sorrel Horse is a traditional country pub, serving an excellent selection of quality food. The pub also has extensive car parking, a large garden, a childrens play area and now also offers accommodation.
The Sorrel Horse is a family run business. It consists of a 17th Century building which first became an Inn in about 1840. It has a large garden, with children's play facilities and an extensive car park.
Set aside from the Inn is an eight bedroom converted barn. It consists of single, twin, double and disabled rooms, most of which are en-suite. All rooms are equipped with Sky TV and drink making facilities.
The downstairs are complete with the original beams and old fashioned styled rooms. While the upstairs is more modern looking and furnished in pine. It is a traditional country Inn serving good home cooked wholesome food - prices are reasonable.
It has a strong connection with the local brewery in Ipswich, Tollemache and Cobbold.
The inn itself is set in nice quiet secluded area and is surrounded by lots of interesting historic attractions. It is complete with original beams and an open fire place.
Accommodation prices from: single £45, double/twin £65.
