A more modern pub for the younger crowd as it has sports TV and music.

The bar is to the left of entering and is a corner bar serving up to three ales, Greene King and couple of guests (usually from Church End. The beer was in fine form.

Food is normally served here at lunch and evening (ring first) and is traditional pub food.

Seating is at dark wood tables and chairs and there are pub games as well. It feels more like a bar than a pub at times, though it is very welcoming.

For the summer there is a small beer garden out back, which is away from the hustle of the road out front.

Worth adding to a list of pubs to visit here.
