The Weighbridge

This is a great pub in the south of Birmingham/West Midlands - often thought to be part of the latter.

It is easy to find as it is part of the Alvechurch Marina off the Birmingham Rd.

There are three lovely rooms for drinking and eating and you can only wonder at who used the unusual luggage that adorns the rooms. Beers served here vary, but there are usually three ales on.

Food is served here both lunch (12-2pm) and evenings (7-9pm) and is good value for money, though if making a special journey, booking is advised. For those who like to taste their food there is a no smoking area. Mid week specials are available on Tuesdays & Wednesdays

No accommodation here, but there is a railway station to get back to civilisation.

Also try: Weatheroak Ales, 25 Withybed Lane.

Note: Open Saturdays & Sundays in main season to 4.30pm

Breakfasts by prior arrangement 8.30 - 10am
