The Old Inn

Real ales are sold here and you can usually ask for a taster before buying if you are not sure you will like it.

A refurbished pub which is very pretty outside with space for seating. Inside there are two open fires in the winter.

It is a single bar pub, with air cleaning equipment so no problems with smoke. Toilets small but very clean.

Traditional pub food, staff were lovely and helpful; specials menu which changes weekly as well as a full menu. Sunday lunches extremely popular. Chef cooks all day Sundays and Monday 6-9.30pm, Tue-Sat 12-2.30pm and 6-9.30pm. Food is all home-made.

Comments

The Old Inn, located in the pretty Bourne Valley seven miles north of Salisbury, lies on the main A338, making it a magnet for both local and passing trade. Inside, all is spick and span, thanks to a top-to-toe redecoration programme carried out in early 2002. They offer traditional pub cuisine at very kind prices, served lunchtime and evening and all day in the summer. The Old Inn has a beer garden and off-road parking.
